Based on the song “Walt Grace’s Submarine Test, January 1967” by John Mayer, this illustrative, panoramic music video tells a tale about a man who overcomes all odds in his journey to build and sail a “homemade, fan-blade, one-man submarine.” 

 

With engaging illustrations, seamless panoramic movement, and even an original cover by my brother and CCM musician Jared Foster, this video breathes new life into Walt Grace’s inspiring story. 

 

This was my senior capstone project, and the entirety of this short film was completed by myself using Photoshop and AfterEffects. (Process Book Below!)
